This project was inspired after I finished listening to The Caretaker's Everywhere at the End of Time. Because it uses samples of 1920s Big Band music, I wanted to try and recreate the image in my head that the sounds were giving me.

Initially, this started as only the gramophone on the table, but then I asked whether it needed to have a few walls to give it context, and then it slowly expanded into the room you see before you.
